GesturesOfTrust

The Better Business Bureau is all about trust... but what does that mean?

BBB asked 1,500 business owners about what they believed about building trusted relationships with their customers, and they answered with what BBB now calls the 5 Gestures of Trust: Be Honest, Be Transparent, Be Proactive, Be Humble, and Be Equitable.

Now it's your turn. Tell us a story.

CALL TO ACTION: In a 15-second to 3-minute film, show us what a Gesture of Trust looks like. Your submission should be authentic, moving, have good sound and cinematography. We are looking for 15-second, 30-second, 60-second, 90 second and 3-minute film submissions.

Entries will be evaluated based on the following judging criteria:
* Creativity (45%)
* Technical Merit (30%)
* Adherence to the Assignment (25%)

HOW THE WINNERS ARE DETERMINED: The contest is hosted in two rounds. From the first round of accepted entries, the top 10 film submissions with the most votes and the top 10 preliminary jury-selected entries will advance to the finals round. From the finalists, a jury panel comprising representatives from the Better Business Bureau will select the top 10 film submissions.

From the top 10 finalist films, we will award a Grand Prize winner, 2nd and 3rd place prize winners, and an additional 7 Honorable Mentions.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION:

The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $15,000 contract with BBB to produce a short film series on the topic of trust in the marketplace.

The top three finalist films will receive a $1,000 travel stipend to attend a live screening of the top 10 finalist films in New York City where the Grand Prize Winner will be announced.

The top 10 Honorable Mentions each win a $300 gift card.
