Receive an Unexpected Netflix Email? It Could Contain Malware

Netflix NewDo you have a Netflix account? Don’t click on that “Update Account Now” button from a new email. A recent phishing scam is making the rounds, claiming the user’s account is on hold because Netflix is “having some trouble with your current billing information.” The fake email requests that you click to update your information in order to steal your financial and personal information.

Phishing scams look like legitimate emails, and they’re getting more sophisticated every day. However, this email has several markings of a scam and contains the typical red flags. Check out the full article to learn more.
